About Smart Vision
Smart Vision TV Limited was established in 2013 by Rob Cantrill and is based in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
Rob has now worked in the audio & visual industry for over 20 years and Smart Vision now boasts a trustworthy reputation locally.
Starting off small, Rob soon established a good customer base to build on and managed to secure contract installation work for Heart of England Co-op, and local companies Brightmore’s of Burbage and Max Electrical.
TV wall mounts have always been a big part of Smart Vision’s trademark talents but in 2014 Rob decided that CCTV was a growing industry which Smart Vision needed to be a part of. Using his knowledge in television and retail, this soon became second nature and was something that he really enjoyed doing.
Time to expand!
With taking on more and more work and with the CCTV side of the business accelerating fast Rob needed some extra help. In April 2019, Tom Leach was our new AV installer, and over the past few years Rob has passed on all his knowledge and experience to Tom.
With Tara now working in the office and buying a second van, this enabled Smart Vision to continue to expand on both domestic and commercial sectors.
Smart Vision will always put our customers first and will offer the very best support and advice when technology can be a little confusing.

Smart Vision TV Limited was established in 2013 by Rob Cantrill.

Due to increased demand, Smart Vision started install CCTV systems into homes and businesses.

Tom joined the Smart Vision team as business accelerated.

We believe in treating our customers with the utmost respect and do any job as though it was for ourselves…
Free consultation
The first stage is discussing your job or project. Whether we meet in person or discuss on the phone, we will chat through all the options and find a suitable solution that fits both your requirements and your budget.
We’ll then quote and get you booked in along with a 25% deposit if you’d like to proceed with the work.
Installation
Whether it’s CCTV or alarm installation, mounting a TV onto a wall or anything else, we’ll always go through the steps involved with you to make sure you’re entirely satisfied.
We’ll then work safely and professionally to get the job completed to the highest standard and in within a suitable agreed timeframe.
Aftercare
Once we’re done, we’ll take the remainder of the payment when you’re completely satisfied with the work we’ve done.
But that doesn’t mean you’ll never see or hear from us again… if you have any problems or further queries, we’re always on the end of a phone if you need us.
Meet the team
Rob Cantrill
Owner
Rob founded Smart Vision in 2013 and still has a hands-on involvement in all areas of the business. He answers the calls, does the quoting, makes the tea. The rest of his days are spent doing what he loves the most – installing high-quality AV systems.
Tara Cantrill
Accounts & Administration
Tara’s been a part of Smart Vision’s success since day one. However, more recently she makes sure things tick over and run smoothly in the office. Her ‘behind the scenes’ role is vital and without Tara, we’d have a lot of paperwork to catch up on.
Tom Leach
AV Installer
Tom joined Smart Vision in 2019. He is the all-round installation expert, specialising in fitting alarms and CCTV systems. Apart from with a cup of tea in hand, he’s never happier than when up a ladder or crawling through a loft to hide those pesky cables.
